"Welcome home!”

“Welcome home”, is not just a way of saying hi but is saying you belong in this house, and you matter to that person. When I come home, I feel loved, and I feel cared about. Smelling cookies straight out of the oven or homemade meals waiting to be eaten. When it is bedtime I wait for my mom and dad to come say goodnight and give me a kiss on the forehead, and yet that always happens, the “Love you!” means everything to me and would to any person in the world. I have many places that I feel safe. Like school, my friends house, and other family members. I love all the traditions that my family does with me. We all love doing stuff together like swimming and crafts, but the number one thing we LOVE to do is camping, when we are camping we love to roast marshmallows and sleep in tents with each other and look at the night sky. We all go to the acreage and camp out there in the trailers. Not only that, but we love to go canoeing in the rivers, but even though we have been fights we always make up after that. I love when my family does stuff with me because I feel cared about and like I belong, I always feel like I belong when I am with my family.
