Home is a Big Hug

Home is a big hug. It is not just a place where you live, it surrounds you with love, joy and care. I know I'm always safe in my home. I can trust it has four walls and a roof. My parents make me amazing food. We have delicious pancakes every Saturday morning with maple syrup on the top of the pancakes! They always taste so amazing and thick with sweetness in them. When I get home from school I give my dog kisses with love and care. My home is special when my family is spending time together and making fun memories. I feel happy when I get home from school. I spend time with my dog and I have fun with him! Our family loves spending time together. As a family we play scat and the game of life. We play our games by the fireplace where it is nice and cozy like a camp fire. I always feel safe in my home. I feel free because I can do anything. I can tell my feelings to everyone no matter what because my family is always by my side. I feel cozy in my home with everyone.Thank you Habitat for Humanity.
