This Is My Home

Home is where I can be myself and relax. It’s where we can watch a movie and have a great time. Home is where everyone is loved, where my loved ones live, and everyone is welcome. Home will always be my safe place. Home smells like my dad’s baked bread in the kitchen and my dog’s smelly breath. It smells like essential oils that we use in our diffusers. It sounds like my sister and friends laughing. It sounds like my mom reading me a book at bedtime and the keys of a piano playing. Home feels comfy, joyful, and chill. Home looks like my pink bedroom, scrapbook papers on the floor, and My Melody posters. My home has a big backyard where we grow fruits and veggies and play in the sandbox. It's where we can jump on the trampoline and go flying. This is my home.
