Families help to build their homes and then pay a mortgage that they can afford. These homes keep families from living on the streets or in hotels. Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 80 families in Grey Bruce counties since 1987. Homes are built by volunteers which change the lives of families giving them a safe and reliable place to live. Many people donate money to buy building materials for these homes. Companies such as Bruce Power also help to donate money and supplies. Habitat for Humanity brings people and communities together to build homes for families in need.
