Habitat Homes

Habitat for Humanity is important to our community because they build homes for the low-income people.  The homes are usually pretty comfortable and proper homes instead of sheds.  Right now, our community is building houses that are located in Saugeen First Nation. Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce has built over 70 homes since 1987. Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce is a non-profit housing organization with a global vision of a world where everyone has a proper home. Habitat for Humanity only works by volunteers and donations. They buy the materials and the families and volunteers build the homes. I think it would be fun to build a home. My dad is a shop teacher so I know how to use tools so I might do it some time. It also helps families so it’s a win, win. That is the importance of Habitat for humanity and how it works.
