Habitat Homes

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit home building organization. People in their community partner with them to provide affordable homes for working families who can't find or afford one. Homes are being bult in Inverhuron, Walkerton and Hanover-Elmwood. Now, time for some facts about Habitat for Humanity. 91 Families in Grey Bruce given the opportunity to live in affordable housing. 78 houses have been built since 1987. 9,000+ hours were served by 516 volunteers; in 2024 alone, an average of seventeen and a half hours per volunteer. I believe this is very important across Canada for people without homes.
