A Place to Call Home

Home is my safe and happy place. At home I have my own room and space. The memories we have made and the games we have played, are all happy things we have done. A kind face in the morning, helps me get through the day. It makes me remember that my family loves me, in each and every way! Dad's pasta at dinner is so very good, that is why it's my favourite food! Mom is a teacher, and very smart. Our family truly is a work of art! I love my kitten, she’s very sweet. Even though she bites on my feet! The songs we have sung, and the stories we've read, the dances we've danced, and dreams when in bed. These are the things that make my house, home. One day I hope that each person can have a place that they, too, can call home. -Emma
