What Home Means to Me

My home means many things to me. To me, home is something I am really thankful for because not every single person in the world has one which is very upsetting. Also without it, I would not have a nice, warm, comforting place to be in. My home is like my happy place. If I come back home knowing that I have had a bad day at school, I can sit down and have some alone time. When I think of home I think of not only the place that I live in but the people who are always with me too! (My family.) I always look forward to Friday evening’s when we get takeout, play games together, talk about stuff and watch a movie. I always enjoy the taste of a nice hot chocolate on a cold winter day while we stay inside having a ton of fun laughing and playing games. I love the smell of the candles that are lit up on a rainy day. We have so much fun together as a family! There are many other things that I love about my home, but these are just a few things. This is what home means to me.
