Home: A place to live

Home is a place that I always feel welcome and cared for. Whenever I smell my mom’s amazing smelling biriyani, it reminds me that home is a place where I am cared for. My home is not about the colorful fireplace or the beautiful layout or the plants. It's about the people and the memories you make together. The beach or my birthday, it's an adventure that me and my family made together. Home is my happy place as well, no matter how messy it is. My room, my kitchen and my living room, it's all in what I call home. Home is also my way of seeing encouragement coming my way. Whenever I'm having a bad day, or I’m really stressed, home makes me feel better, no matter how my parents deal with it. When it's a cold day, Home is my shield from the snow and rain outside while I snuggle in blankets and sip sweet hot chocolate. My home is where I belong. It's a place where I feel cared for. With the food and love that all my parents give me, it's not just a house. My home is also a place with my belongings. My home brings me all the memories I need. The next time I think about home, I'll not just think of it as a shelter that me and my family dented or worn out. I'll think of it as a friend that I love and care for. My home is not just a house I use as a shelter, it's a place I use to live and listen to the chirping birds. My home is special to me, and I am grateful for it. Home is not just a building, it’s a place I live in.
