A Home is More Than Just a House

“It’s not how big the house is; it’s how happy the home is that matters most.” A house is just a built structure until it is filled with love and memories, that make it a home. Home is the best place! It is a place where I feel happy, safe, and secure. Where I can sing, dance, play, and be myself. Home is a place where I know I always belong! It is a welcoming place where my friends always want to come over to play! Home is where I go to school each day. Where I learn, grow, and create treasured moments. A house is built using wood and bricks. It’s a physical structure made up of different rooms and walls. A home is where my family and I live. Where every room is unique and different and tells a story of our life. From the different paint and furniture in each room, to the scent of delicious home cooked meals, laughter and love that fill the house each day. My home is like my castle, that keeps me protected, safe, and warm. It has great big, bright windows, that allow me to see the beautiful sights of the world outside. My bedroom is my tranquil place, which is a personal reflection of myself. My room is painted in a soft misty pink and filled with stuffed animals, that make this a cozy place to play, sleep and dream. A home is more than just a house. It is a safe place to live and be. Where love and memories continue to grow and constantly shape me. There are lots of houses built everyday, but it takes love to make it a home. “A house is made of walls and beams; a home is built with love and dreams!”
