What my Home Means to Me
To me, my home is not just a normal place where I live. It is a place where I live and belong, it is where I feel comfortable. Everybody deserves a place where they feel like they belong just like me, a place they can call home. When there is snow outside, covering my neighbourhood, I feel warm in my cozy blanket talking with my family. I sadly think to myself, where do all the people struggling without a house feel warm? Every winter I smell the fresh hot smell of my traditional food called biryani coming from the kitchen, my mouth starts watering because of how tasty the food is. But then I sadly think to myself, where do all the people struggling without a house cook food? I taste the warm hot chocolate as I play some board games with my friends. I sadly think to myself while playing, where do all the people struggling without a house play with their friends and family?. Me and my family sit together on the couch watching a funny movie. One part of the movie made me and my family really laugh. But then I sadly think to myself while sitting on my couch, where do all the people struggling without a house have movie nights with their own family? Me and my family sit on the couch beside the warm fireplace. We talk to each other, hearing ideas about what we should do. I think to myself, where do all the people struggling without a house talk to their own family? I love my home and I am very glad to have my own home and I think that everyone deserves their own home just like me.
