Home means to me...

Home, it’s kind of hard to explain in so little words because it has such a simple yet complex meaning. You can feel home and you can be at home. Here picture this, when I’m on a snowmobile I feel at home because I feel like nothing can stop me, with every bump and shake I feel the energy going through me. I can also feel the freedom of being on a snowmobile and it feels great. I can also be at home when I’m with the people I love and when I’m with them I’m wearing a smile that I don’t have to put on. When I’m with them I’m genuinely happy and when we eat were all laughing and talking and you can always smell whatever delicious food were about to eat. Home feels like happiness, calmness and warmth and smells like delicious tacos or lasagna. The thing I probably love the most about home is that I know I’m safe. I can wake up on the weekend and just relax and then eat breakfast with my family. I also love when I’m with my dog because he makes me feel like I’m at home. When were together, cuddling, playing or just watching a movie together I know we have a connection that will make me feel at home. So home to me is freedom, love, care and safety, those are just a fraction of what home is to me.
