My Delightful Home

When I think of my home, I think of the kitchen. The kitchen is where most memories are made. My mom makes food with love and passion. A warm batch of fresh cookies emerges from the oven, and I see the delicious cookies with chocolate dripping down the sides. Yum. My sister and I wait patiently for my mom to call us to lick the icing off the whisk. The icing would always taste so good. When I walk into the family room, I see the memories we have made in picture frames. I hear a crackle in the fire place and see its ash falling gently. I love to watch movies in here. Harry Potter - that’s a favourite! I remember when I used to be scared of that movie. When I enter the dining room, I remember what delicious meals were eaten in here and see the pictures along the wall. I remember playing board games and eating tacos on Tuesday. Many memories make up my delightful home.
