What home means to me.

Home to me is one of the safest places in the world. It’s like I’ve been wrapped around in a warm hug, safe and cozy. My home is very stable,I never worry about my home falling down. Home is like a free place to go, with nothing holding me back. I love when my home makes me feel like I’m not alone, even though sometimes I really am alone. When I come back from school, there’s always something exciting going on in my house. Sometimes it’s a present or a guest, but whatever it is, it doesn’t matter because I’m back home. I don’t have to worry about anything. I could do all my favourite things, like playing the violin to making my own art. Home can mean different things to different people, but to me it means love, happiness, and joy. Every time I go home from a place, home kind of welcomes me back. With it’s scent that smells like fresh flowers in a tropical beach or the warm tingly feeling across my fingers. That one little thing to me is love, happiness, and joy. Home reminds me to be strong because of it’s impressive foundation. Even in the roughest situations, like a tornado, home tries it’s best to stay strong and to stay in one place. So don’t you see, some people think homes are just a house that don’t deserve any respect, but they’re wrong. Homes shield us from the freezing cold. Homes protect us from strangers and robbers. Some people don’t even have homes. So let's make a change, let’s be more grateful that we have home. Let’s care about our homes more. Let’s help the people who need a home, and most importantly, let’s love our beautiful homes.
