What Home Means To Me

What does home mean to me? To me home means a lot. Home is like my happy place. Something that makes my home special is not just the renovated parts of my home, but the memories that I make every single day with my brother and parents. To me home is not just a house. Home is also safe and loving because of my family. My family shows love to me by supporting me each and every day. My grandma always tells me how lucky I am. When I see people barely getting by, or see people on the street, it makes me realize how privileged I am. That really opens my eyes. As a kid home is also where I grow up, and where I have friends over. Home is also where I’ve created memories like, celebrating New Years, or celebrating someone’s birthday. Those memories are so important to me and will last me a lifetime. To me home is stressless. Being at home just relieves me and just helps me get through a bad day. Home is much more than bricks, walls, windows, and doors. Home is where you belong and where you are meant to be.
