What home mean to me

Home is a feeling, not a building. When I’m at home, I’m in the woods, where the magic is swirling around me. When I’m at home, I’m with animals, birds at my birdfeeder, running my dog, or listening to the coyotes and owls at night. My parents are comforting; they’ve helped me through my whole journey. I’ll go round learning, forgetting, losing, and gaining. Wherever I go I’ll find home. I see people without homes, and I cry. I hope for the best. Life is hard for them, and I know it. They’ve been forgotten, left on the streets by someone who thought they could do it. But, they can’t. Some have gone insane. When you’re out on the streets like that, there’s no food. No hope. My house is in the woods, so I’ll go to the forest where I'm at home. I’ll discover, I’ll run! I’ll be an actress with a song in my heart. As long as I’m here protected from wind, rain and snow.as long as I thrive surrounded with family and friends, animals stuffed and unstuffed, I’m home.
