What home means to me

What does home mean to me? Home could mean a lot of things like a place where you feel safe, a place where you belong, and a place where you can express your feelings. This is what home means to me. Home is where I belong and feel safe. Home is also me dribbling the soccer ball and stickhandling the hockey puck. It smells like the stinky changing rooms after a game or practice. I see my parents laughing at my jokes and my brother is making them laugh even harder. My home sounds calming and people are cheering for the teams we love. When I play a hockey or soccer game I feel like everyone is cheering me on. Even kids are too. So remember home is not just a roof over your head and doors. It’s a place where you can express yourself and where you belong.
