This is Home

What is home? Home is a place where I am safe, Home is a place where everyone has faith in each other. Home is a place unlike any other. Home is a place where my fish live and play, Home is a place where the plants grow all day. Home is a place where the crickets squeak at night, Home is a place with a lot of light. A house is cold, dark and scary; A home is warm, loved and joyful. A home is yours, a house is not. A house is just something you bought. A home is so much more than that. A home holds memories, years and years of them. Houses usually do not. If you dive deeper into what a house is, you will see that you spend most of your time at home for a long time. It shelters you, keeps you warm, gives you space, and so much more. Home is probably the most important place in the world for so many people, that's how special home is, and it's not just humans with homes, there are so many other animals in the world with homes; birds, fish, mammals and everything else that lives and moves. At home, it does not matter what you are doing, who you're with or what is happening; all that matters is that you are home. This is home!
