Home isn't Just a Building

What home means to me. Home is where my heart feels warm, cozy and safe and I smell my grandma’s short bread. In my living room is where family night trivia and laughter come from and that warms my heart. And having a family movie night downstairs and eating popcorn and sipping Coke with my family and I love playing mini sticks with my dad. For Christmas last year I got a PS5 which I’m very grateful for and I play video games on. And my home feels like there is a shield around me and when I go outside my home is welcoming me back inside. And when it’s a school day my parent says “wake up Rowan”. When I go to my hockey game and my sister says good luck. I want to thank Habitat for Humanity for giving families a home to live in. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity.
