Home is Anything and Everything

Home, home is like a bunker that protects me from any explosion. Home is a place, people, pets or even a feeling. Home is whatever you want it to be. To me, home is my family who are always there for me even when I’m mad or sad. And my room, which is a place I can go whenever I want, even when I’m in trouble. Home is different for everyone. You should feel comfortable and safe there. Home is my dog keeping me safe, even when it’s just barking at the mail man. And my cousin for just always being there. Places, home can be a place, I think of home as my house and my grandma's house because I basically grew up there. Everyone has a home, some people just still need to find it . I would like to thank Habitat for Humanity for running this because it helped me and many other kids realize how important “home” really is. It’s really awesome how all of Canada (Gr.4, 5,and 6) is able to enter this contest and learn what home means to them. I am very thankful for all of your work.
