The Meaning of Home

Home is a place you love. It's not because you have a PS 5, it's not because you have a xbox. it's the place where you feel like you belong where you spend time with the people you love. It brings memories, joy, and every other feeling you could imagine! When I get called for dinner in a home I might get called by a nickname like for example sweetie, honey, buddy, but if you're in a house you might get called your name or a short version of your name and if you were to live there you would never feel the same. When my mom is cooking I like to ask what she's cooking, can I help, can I see the process. And when she says yes I have a really fun time and I make memories with her. We can laugh, we can yell, we can burn the food and those are memories that I will keep forever in my heart. In the living room sometimes we will watch a movie, eat popcorn, have fun, talk to each other and those are memories we will watch the snow fall see how many sports cars we can find so much stuff to do those are memories that i will keep forever in my heart. A the dinner table sometimes we will play a board game once we are done eating we talk about how our day has been we talk about what what we are excited about we say a bunch of jokes that are never funny but at the time they are and those are memories that i will keep forever in my heart You see home is a place for memories not just because you have something you like its because you have someone you love!
