Home is Not Just a Building

To me the meaning of home is not about the expensive PS5 I got for christmas or all the clothes I own, it's about my time and the people there to spend time with me. It's about all the memories hanging on my walls in nice frames. It's about being able to be myself.It's about all the nice smells that come from the kitchen and all the yummy tastes too.Its also about the nice candle my mom lit that is a Christmas tree farm scented from bath and body works. Home can also be overwhelming when there are arguments between each other but that never changes the relationship between myus. Home makes me feel happy and safe when I'm feeling down.I love home in many ways like when my dog Daisy is laying with me watching bluey on the tv or me, my sister , my mom and my dad are having movie nights eating popcorn or even going on family walks. Home is my most important prize possession and I hope I will always have it with me. Home is my happy place because it's great to have it in my life.I think home should be everyone's happy place because it's mine and it's very special. Everyone in my home is my family and my family makes me feel warm inside. My family is the best family in the whole wide world and I am so grateful to have them in my life. All I feel when I'm inside my home is warmth inside and love and I hope others feel that too. I am so grateful that I have a nice home and loving family because some people don't.
