The Meaning of Home

Home is like a library, It holds all of my childhood inside of it. Most times I feel like the air, floating around in the sky. Every time I’m watching t.v. It reminds me of watching with my family. It doesn’t matter where I am. It matters who I’m with. My home isn’t just 4 walls and a roof It is the foundation of who I am. It is where I have grown up, where I was loved, and where I learned how to care for each other. I feel confident doing anything My home isn’t a house, it is a home. It is where I grew up with family and friends. It protects me from the cold and heat So I don’t get sick as easily as those without a home. Losing the sense of home is heartbreaking It has taught me to treasure every moment. Some people don’t have a home, but a house While I am lucky enough to have a home.
