What Home Means to Me

When I think of the word “home” I don’t think of just a place or a building. To me, home is something much more. It is a safe place where I can have fun, express myself, and be me. It is the place I feel most comfortable and a place where I can relax. Home is a place where it is okay to cry and be angry, or feel overwhelmed and frustrated. But, it is also the place I feel most happy and the place where my favourite people make me feel safe and loved. Home is the place where I can talk to the people I love about anything! I can have fun, express myself, and sometimes even fight with my siblings. It is where I eat, laugh, and play games with my family. Home isn’t just a place, it’s a feeling. It means so much to me and I am so grateful to have a wonderful place where I can be me!
