Jerry Builds a Home By: Ethan Once there was a guy named Jerry. Jerry lives in a place called Buildlund. In Buildlund everybody is a LEGO minifigure. One day Jerry was walking home from work then he said, “I need a new home!” Fortunately, Jerry was an engineer, so he got to work. Jerry found some bricks on the ground, so he started building. Jerry called his best friend Bobby to lend a hand so they both got to work. At the end of the day Jerry had a new home and Bobby had 20 bucks. Jerry said bye to bobby as he went into his new home. But then he noticed and said, “My house is EMPTY!!!” Jerry had no couch, bed, kitchen, NOTHING. The only thing he had was a bathroom. That night Jerry slept on a carpet he found. The next day Jerry called Bobby and told Bobby to meet up with him in the park. At the park Jerry told Bobby that he needed his house to have stuff in it and Bobby says, “I know why your house is empty.” “WHY!?!” said Jerry “Because you don’t know the meaning of home.” Said Bobby “Oh.” Says Jerry “SOOO what IS the meaning of home?” “Well,” started Bobby “First: a home isn’t just a building it’s better than that it’s a place where you can make memories and have fun. Second: its like when you have a bad day home is a place where you can escape from all the chaos and relax like you’re at the beach. Third: a home is a place where you can have emotions sad, angry, happy, you name it. And I bet you can figure out the rest.” From that day on Jerry new the meaning of home The End.
