What Home Means To Me

A house might be made of bricks and stones, but home should be your comfort zone. With food and family, fun times and laughter. Your home should be filled with love and memories. Fun times and tough talks. Warm meals with family and friends are a must. Your home doesn’t need to be where you live, it could be a friend's house, a park, or even a camp. Family is there to get your spirits up, or tease you and all that. You can have a home inside of your home, your room your true comfort zone. If you have troubles your family can’t soothe, read a book or play video games to help blast your troubles away. Family is part of a home and they can teach you many a thing. Your parents can teach you cooking and baking, board games, dice and card games galore. They teach you life skills. Your siblings teach you technological tricks. Their teasing teaches you how to be patient and to cool yourself down. Your pets teach you timing and how to do stuff that might not be so fun. But do not forget you yourself are part of it all and help teach as well. To play with friends and family. That is what home means to me.
