What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me Home isn’t just a structure with sturdy walls and a roof. Home is a place you feel loved and valued. When I think of home I think of laying on my soft couch after school. Or hearing my chickens clucking when I wake up. Home is where my family is and when I’m with my family I feel happy. When I look out at my garden, I feel special and lucky I have things like this. I’m lucky to afford and eat pizza or pasta almost every Wednesday. I love the smell of dew on the grass after it rains and the smell of the trees and sap. Home is a place where you won’t be judged or teased and instead feel special. That’s why home is my favorite place.
