What Home Means To Me

My home is as cozy as a warm blanket that smells like lemons. My home is full of books, stuffies, snacks, and love. My home is where all of my memories start. My home is the place where I belong. I train for tennis, learn piano and violin at home. In my home there is my lovely mom and dad, my dog Rico, and me. If you walk into my home, you would hear high pitched barking, music, laughter, and clickity-clacks on the keyboard. I remember a day when I came home feeling sad because at school, someone had pushed me and I fell on the warm, hard ground. I felt sad, mad, and embarrassed. When I arrived home, my mom’s and dad’s gentle embrace made me sniffle. They comforted me and took care of the situation. In the end, home to me is where my family's memories start. Home is a place where I feel loved, welcomed, and cared for. Everyone deserves a home. I love my home and my home loves me back.
