What Does Home Mean to You?
The sound of my mom cooking something delicious.
The hockey net being shot at.
The sound of birds chirping.
The sound of hitting a snow jump and flying off.
Watching TV and hockey games, movies, golf, and shows together with my family.
Staying in a nice hotel at a resort.
Staying in a hotel while me and my dad went to our first NHL game.
Home means to me…
Opening presents at my house with my family then spending the rest of the day at my grandparents.
Going to my friends house and sleeping over and playing clash royale.
Playing mini sticks and pretending I won the Stanley Cup.
My pet fish swimming around happily in his tank.
Laying in my bed looking at my galaxy projector.
Playing NHL 26 with my friends and family.
My dad makes my home special because me and him would always shoot pucks together at our hockey net. My mom makes my home special because we make anything together like cookies, muffins and ice cream. My sister makes my home special because me and her would make hot chocolate together and do lots of snowball fights. I've grown at my home by learning how to walk, learning how to ride a bike, learning how to make stuff on a barbeque. I've also grown by being kind to others, respecting everyone who comes to my house.
Home matters because you will maybe never be in that home again, home matters because that's where your only family lives. I will always love my family in my home. For me home is not a place it is a feeling.
