A home can be anywhere. It can be in your family’s arms on the couch knowing you can talk about any problem you need help to fix. It can be on the sidewalk where there’s a sweet smell of fresh rain. It could even be on a sandy beach where salty waves crash onto the shore. A home can be anywhere. It can be in the kitchen smelling a hot fresh pie baking in the oven. It can be in the forest where birds chirp and fly through the warm sunlight. It could even be skiing down a snowy mountain where your cheeks turn rosy pink. A home can be anywhere. I can be at school where you and your friends talk, play, and laugh until it’s time to go. It can be in a garden watching the vibrant, colourful flowers bloom. It could even be reading a book wrapped in a warm, wooly blanket. So really, your home can be anywhere. Wherever you feel like you belong, are loved, and cared for is your home. Remember, a home can be anywhere.
