What is Home?

What is home? Home isn’t my house. My home is everywhere and everything I love. Home is the warm embrace of family and laughter. Home is laying on a sunny beach sipping an icy, sugary, drink. Home can be my dog licking my face with love and happiness while watching my favourite TV show. Home is Winnipeg, the place I live and the home I’ll always belong to. Home will be the place where I celebrate Christmas and holidays with all my favourite things and colourfully wrapped presents from my family. Sitting beside the fireplace while knitting with a warm, fluffy blanket hugged around me. Home can be the feeling of winning a hockey tournament with your teammates. Home is that amazing feeling you get when spending time with your friends and laughing together. Home is the feeling of being with your family, who loves you so much. My home is where I belong. That’s home.
