What's a Home to You

Do you know what a home is? A home, sometimes you don't think about it. Really, I don’t either, but there are lots of people who would love a home and your probable thinking, ‘oh I bet someone would love a house,’ but a house isn’t a home; a home to me is something that makes me feel joy, happiness, calm, free and loved. These things make a home. I love my home; my home can be anywhere but not with anyone I need the people I love most. And that makes me feel happy. You can also be sad, or scared, or even confused, but there will always be someone who loves you. Maybe your friend or your mom or dad, but what I am trying to say is that you aren't alone. We’ve all been there, sad, scared, feeling like you’ve been doing everything wrong, but one day you’ll see that you're not doing everything wrong your just living how you want, and that's amazing. When my grandma's come, it's so nice. They cook, talk, and just have fun. The food is heavenly! One of my grandmas is from Colombia, and the other one is from Serbia. Two very different people but they are so alike. You can tell that they taught my parents how to cook because they make the most delicious dinners ever! One of the best things you can have is someone to talk to, that's my siblings. I can tell my siblings anything, and I am happy I have people like that in my life. As I said, a home isn’t a place or a building but somewhere where the people you love most are and where you don’t need to hide but show who you are.
