What Home Means To Me

What home means to me is my own space, where I drop my bag after school and sit down for a break after a long, busy day. I hear doors open and close, people moving around, and the house feels alive, safe and warm inside. Home is where I eat snacks and talk about my day, or stay quiet when I want and scroll or think. I can relax and be myself, no stress, no pretending, just me being me and feeling calm. Home is where I feel safe, where I feel comfortable.
