Meaning of Home

Where's the place you feel safest and happiest? For me, a home is more than just a building, a home is a place where you feel loved. Jeremiah 29:11 says: As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. I feel safe and at peace because God is the center of my family’s home. Being at home makes me feel supported and comforted. My parents and siblings are also a big part of my home. Home is important because it gives families time to be together and bond with each other. The best kind of home is a home where you feel safe and loved. One of my favorite memories at home was when we got a dog for our first time. We named her Daisy. That moment was very special because I had always wanted to get a dog. Pets can also make you feel comforted. God gave us homes to feel safe, comforted and loved. We love because God first loved us. Psalm 23 talks about heaven being the best home. Heaven is where I will receive eternal life. Homes are a very important part of our life. I think everyone should have a home. This is what a home means to me.
