My Home Is My Happy Place

Evey time I open the front door to enter my home, I feel safe and calm. My home is where I feel okay doing anything, I just be myself. I feel safe in my home as a king guarded in a castle by the knights. The scent of mouthwatering meals getting cooked in the kitchen. In my home, we sit down as my mom brings our delicious cultural food. The taste of homemade meals cooked with love, just can’t be bought with money. The laughter passes through the air watching tv, eating and chit-chatting while enjoying our delicious meals. A home carries memories that will stay with us even if we move somewhere else. Every little thing including beautiful plants with fresh green leaves in my living room has a connection to my life. My home is where I feel joyful and happy. My home is not just a building; it's a happy place.
