Meaning of home

To me home is not just a word but an emotion. Home means warmth, loving caring, and a safe place. To me you can’t describe home in a dictionary because it’s all the emotions you can’t describe without feeling them. Firstly, home is a place filled with warmth because whenever I am home with my family it feels really nice. There laughter fills the room everytime we are together and that home traps those emotions and turning it into a memory I hold. Playing board games, making meals and eating those meals all together. Secondly home is a place where from the structure itself to the people and everything in between loves me and cherishes me for who I am. No matter how bad I mess up or the mistakes I make because at the end of the day I know that everyone will still love me. Thirdly, home is a place where I am cared for. It’s where i can show my emotions without ever feeling judged. It’s a place where even no matter how small of a problem everyone will listen and try to solve it attentively. Finally Home is also my safe space where I look forward to going at the end of the day. Home is where it will keep me safe and allow me to grow to who I want to be. Overall the meaning of home can’t be defined as a word it is a emotion a longing that your heart desires. It’s a combination of many important emotions including warmth, loving ,caring, feeling safe.
