The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is to have a place to feel safe, loved and happy. This is my home and I'm going to tell you about it. Up at my cottage, usually when all the parents wake up. Me, my siblings and friends usually ask the adults to make breakfast. Sometimes we even help them. We usually eat delicious pancakes and crispy bacon. Next at lunch time me and my sister ask our friends and neighbours if they want to play. We go over to their house and play on their ginormous floaty. It's awesome in the refreshing cold water. Normally we go to this underwater rock land where there's so much seaweed. Down the river my grandparents have a cottage where I adore listening to the birds. It's delightful playing with my whole family and friends. We eat yummy ice cream and play at the beach. At my cottage there's a place called the rapids, all of them vary in sizes, the rapids are these fun bumps in the water, they're amazing. In the afternoon usually me and my siblings go play on the ninja line and climb the huge rock. There's a big rock behind the cottage. We love sliding down it into the beautiful water. After that, I usually get in my PJs and watch a movie sometimes, with friends and sometimes with family eating popcorn, ice cream and cookies. At night I lay down in my cozy bed with pillows smelling like lavender usually to help me fall asleep. The lights are off and all I see is darkness then l fall asleep.
