To me, home is whatever you want it to be

To me, home is whatever you want it to be. It can be a stuffed animal that makes you feel safe. Home is somewhere where you feel safe and loved. When you are with certain people or things, you feel at home. For me, home is when I'm with my family because I feel safe and loved, and I know I'm appreciated. My favourite times are spent with my family. Home is also my mom's cooking, her meals are the best! Her butter chicken makes me feel warm inside, her pasta is better than any restaurant’s, and if anyone thinks otherwise, it’s fine because to me, I know her cooking is the best and that is all I need to know. When my family is together, it is always a good time, like the time we went to Disney and Universal. We went on so many rides and did many exciting things. At Universal, we visited the Harry Potter area, which was probably the best part of the trip. Being able to cast spells is one of the coolest feelings, and timing your wand wave with the dragon spitting fire looked amazing. The Harry Potter world also had an amazing immersive ride that made me feel like I was really there. If we have disagreements, we always resolve them by talking, and they end up with hugs and kisses. Those hugs and kisses remind me that I'm loved and that, no matter what happens, I will always have a place where I belong, a home. Even on days when I’m sad, tired, and angry, they always make me feel better, and I know I’ll get some delicious food, which also makes me feel better.
