Filled with Riches

When someone asks you what home feels like, you might think of toys, or a place to play. But what about a house? A house has chairs, tables and couches, but in a home you can share it all. A house has walls, plain and empty, but a home has them filled with memories. A house is man-made, and a home is built on wisdom. A house has food ready to eat, in a home it’s made with loving care. Your home should be a place to rest from work. Your home may have many beautiful things. It is a place of refreshment for you and your family. It is a place for joy, laughter, and kindness. Your house should be a place where you're proud to call home. Proverbs 24:3-4 says, “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.” This verse should remind you that it’s not money that makes a good home, it’s your heart and family. Whatever kind of house it is, it’s your home. A small house, a big house, It doesn't matter because it’s your home. Your personal place where you can express your feelings and emotions. A place to welcome those in need, a place to watch your children grow up. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes for the people who can’t afford homes like ours. God is with you!
