A Home can be Family

A home can be family in a lot of ways, depending on what you think it can be. Home can be family because it’s the family in it that makes those special moments. The memories can be trips to a friend's house or just being with your family. Home can be the place where your heart belongs. In your home, you can have your favorite activities, what makes you feel loved or safe, and your special memories. One of my favorite activities is gymnastics in my basement. We have an ariel silk we call a swing, crafts and family game night. The stuff that makes me feel loved and safe are my family, my room, my living room, my kitchen, all my stuffies, all my toys and the pictures that hold my family memories. One of my special memories is when my mom and I had a sleepover in her bed when I was 5 years old. You can make memories in different places, like at a friend's house. You can also make memories at your house. Home can also be where you feel like you can express your feelings and talk to your family about your feelings.
