Meaning of home - A place where I belong

When I get home, my cheerful, furry dogs run toward me like I’ve been gone for years, and I feel joy when they jump on me and I touch them while I laugh and fall onto my big, cozy couch. When I am at home, I see my cute, fluffy cat softly climb onto my lap and curls up like a tiny ball of comfort while my parents come from a long day of work. When I am at home, I smell the fresh, warm soup. The delicious smell wraps around me like a hug. I sit on my soft bed, surrounded by my favorite posters and pictures and playing games and feeling completely relaxed. When I am at home, I taste my mom’s homemade spaghetti and we all sit together at the dining table, sharing jokes and laughing so hard that it echoes through the house. When I am at home, I hear the thrilling sounds of funny and suspenseful shows and action movies playing at night. My family and I watching together, sometimes staying up a little too late, enjoying every moment. My home is not just a place with some walls, floor, and a roof it’s a shelter filled with love, laughter, childhood, and with things and people I love and where my heart will truly beat forever throughout my life.
