What Home Is To Me

This is what home is to me. There are many people out there without stable homes so it makes me happy because when I write this essay, I send 10 dollars to Habitat for Humanity so they can build houses for people. To me, home is where your family is. I feel home is where celebrations are. I remember my brother's baby shower. A lot of people were there . A bunch of them were family friends but a lot were family too. I definitely felt at home there. I also love Christmas because I get to see family! Christmas definitely makes a house a home because you put memories into it! Home to me is definitely where family is. We just went to a family gathering and we saw many family members! It was a lot of fun! Sadly, my parents are splitting up, but that means we will have 2 houses. I bet me and my brother will think of them as home! Holidays are also fun because our house turns more into a home because we make memories! I think when you travel, you go places that you may start to think of as home. Like when we go to our Papa’s trailer! We've gone so many times that it definitely is home to us now! Our family goes camping a lot so we go to many different places and make memories! Those places have started to become home to me now. Every summer, me, my dad and my brother always go camping with my dad’s longtime friend. It’s always fun! That is what home is to me. To me, home is where your family is. Habitat for Humanity makes many houses a year, and that is happy to me because people need them.
