Home

Home isn't a big wave crashing against the rocks, it's a calm river otter swimming on a hot sunny day. Sometimes I go on walks and smell the fresh flowers blooming, and the sounds of the birds singing their songs. Home is family time, like when we play the card game uno flip, and when we have family dinners. My favorite dinner is tacos because I like how they crunch in my mouth. And the smell of the beef when my dad is making it. Home is family movie nights, with big bowls of popcorn and candy! Home is reading. Reading makes me feel calm and relaxed. Sometimes my mom reads to me when I'm about to go to bed. One thing that I like to do when I'm reading is, reading with my family because I love them. Home is not a place, it's a feeling.
