The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home The meaning of home isn’t just a roof or food it’s love, kindness , laughter , and your bedroom. It's where my family is. No matter what, they will care for you. To me home smells like bread being baked and bacon or steak being cooked. It also smells like ramen being made with the kettle whistling. Smelly socks and laundry detergent, that's what home smells like to me. My home sounds like laughter, kindness, anger and sadness. These are all normal emotions that happen naturally and that's what makes my home special home to me. My home feels like a soft couch that's a little messy but really nice. It feels like a comforting bed with stuffies and a cool breeze from my window with a good view. It also feels like a safe place to relax. My home looks like a place with a bunch of decorated walls with paintings on them. My bedroom looks like a place I get to stay in. It is a place to be comforted and I have paintings in my room and a laptop. I don't use it much though. This is what my home looks like and that's what I like about it. My home tastes like food being well cooked and steak being cooked rare or medium rare. My home also tastes like tasty ramen and ice cream that's what my home tastes like. By Eli
