Home is a place of love

Home is a place where I find love from a family who comforts me and makes me feel at peace from a hard and long day of school. Home is a place where there’s no limits to my creativity and thinking. Home to me is not just a building, it's a home built on trust, love and peace. Home is the place I find warm hugs and laughter from family who don't care about how you dress or talk. It’s a place where I find fresh orange juice from my grandma’s recipe that was passed down to my mom after she had died. She was a sweet and kind soul who only wanted to help people in need of love in their life. She had died with no regreat in her life besides not teaching us our native language from South Sudan. Home is a place to hold memories of loved ones who had a good life or a bad one. To me it’s where my dad demonstrates his courage by protecting us from any danger. It’s a place to find warm hugs from my mom and it just feels like a cloud releasing all my stress. Without my home where would I find shelter, love and care. It's the only place where I feel like I belong, so thank you Habitat for Humanity for making this world a better place and giving people in need a home.
