What Home Means To Me
Home is a place where I feel happy and loved. My home is not just a building, it is a place full of love. And I hope by writing this essay Habitat for Humanity can build a home for a family that makes them feel safe and that they can share so many memories in.
My Nona has an attachment to our house so I can just go over and see her. We have four pets so if I'm sad I can just cuddle my dogs and when I get home from school I can't wait to see my birds. Lastly, my mom and dad are so loving and caring. I love curling up on the couch all watching a movie together.
My family has some great memories in my pool like my sister and me splashing and playing or all of us in it together or when my friends and I play in the pool. My family has a measurement board where my parents have measured my sister and me ever since we were little. Our back yard also has lots of memories like playing with my sister on a hot day or jumping in puddles when it’s raining.
When I am in my home I feel safe and happy. When I’m in my home I know that I am loved. I feel grateful to have a loving home, a cozy bed and a roof over my head.
As you can see, home is not just a building but a place full of love. Home is a place that makes you feel safe and loved. A place full of memories. I hope Habitat for Humanity can make lots of homes because every buddy deserves a place to feel safe, to feel loved and happy. A home.
