What does home mean to you?
Home means privacy, comfort, freedom, and responsibility for me. My room feels like my own personal space that I can enter any time. My room has all of my essentials and my personal needs that I use everyday. My kitchen/dining table is a place that I eat with my family and friends. The kitchen has a " snack shack" that me and my little sister can take from, and it's useful when my mom comes home late from work, so we don't starve till dinner. The backyard is where we have BBQ with friends and family in the summers, and my dad usually puts up an inflatable pool to play in with. The living room is one of my favorite places in the house. All of my devices are there, and that's where I usually study or do homework. The living room is basically also a game room. Sometimes we eat in the living room to watch the Olympics and other special events that happen every year. The word Home reminds me of all of the great memories I had there. My family and I celebrate almost all of the holidays in our house. Sometimes we will go over to a family-friends house, but we usually celebrate in our own house. I was born in my dad's side grandma's house, and once my sister was born we moved to our own house. My grandma's house was pretty huge. Where I live right now, we live in a medium-small house, and my parents have been renting it for 8 years. I hope that I don't have to leave my neighborhood, I have great memories in that neighborhood (mostly with friends.) My neighborhood is friendly, one of my neighbors has a pool and me and my sister get to swim in it sometimes. There is a park close by, and in the summers / springs me and my school friends hangout at the park. My neighborhood is like a big family almost.
