The Meaning of Home

A home isn’t just a house. It is a safe place like a fun house. When you step in, you always get a warm hug, like a warm blanket that just came out of the dryer. Every holiday, when you wake up, you get a SURPRISE!!! Happy New Year! When it is Valentine’s Day, you get a room full of hearts. Imagine your parents staying up all night doing this for you. You’d better thank them when you get home and maybe make a present for them! Imagine them cleaning the house for you and they say, “Just go play and have fun!” Thank Habitat for Humanity for giving us a home and warm hugs. Every kid needs a home, even hot chocolate and maybe apple pie to celebrate their birthday.
