What home means to me

My puppy always makes me feel at home even if my parents are not, she is always there to snuggle with me. My home is a place where I feel I can express my emotions while smiling and frowning. In my home I watch a show to wind down and whenever I am sad my family brings all my feelings up and they make me laugh. My family is mostly at home with me except when they go on work trips together and simply go to work. Me and my family are very flexible for each other and respect what others want to do. I will always have at least one bestest friend forever named Alyssa. Sometimes I bake with my mom. I love spending quality time with my family to know their stories of their childhood. It is so nice to know. We have fires a ton and just talk about random stuff then we all know a little bit more about each other. Our home smells like yummy food, and it is very fresh. Our home sounds like TV and happy people. Our home feels like love and joy and also happiness. I was from Saskatoon and my puppy is from Parksville. Me and my puppy snuggle and of course play fight. I really enjoy having her because she brings a little bit more love, joy and happiness to the family. I get home on the bus and stay home alone with my snuggly puppy. She makes me feel safer when I am by myself. Home is a place that I am loved Home is a place where I can feel safe and not get worried when I am feeling down. My family helps me through the ups and downs. By: Maisy
