Home is my happy place

Home is my happy place, the comfort I reach when days feel long. It’s where my family gathers close: where my mom might scold, my little sister might sigh and cry, So I answer with a silly dance just to make them smile Home is the space where I can speak freely, where I can unravel my thoughts and be heard when I feel low. No matter where I wander, home is the warmth that always welcomes me back On weekends we all sit down, four chairs pulled close around. Dad rolls the dice and laughs out loud, Mom reads the rules and feels so proud. I make my move and try to win, but sometimes we fake my little sisters win. We trade some cards and build our part, We always have the best time from the start! Home isn’t just bricks or wooden beams, or walls that stand so tall. It’s built with love and gentle care, the strongest bond of all. With hugs, affection, helping hands, and kindness clearly shown that’s what truly makes a place a home that feels our own. No matter where I go or grow, my heart still leads me home sweet home!
